A family owned and private preschool, The Learning Center
was founded in 1987 as a center for early childhood education. |

Since its’ inception, the school has continued to grow
and make its’ mark as a leader in the field of early
childhood education. The Learning Center is APPLE accredited
and has earned the Gold
Seal Award of Excellence as an outstanding preschool in
the state of Florida, as well as voted the Best
Pre-School in Boca Raton in 2005 and Best
Pre-School in Boca Raton in 2008 by the Times
Readers in 2005 and 2008.

The
Learning Center consists of a 3 building complex and over
5,000 square feet of space. The buildings are furthered divided
into the East (Young Toddlers), New (Older Toddlers and Threes),
and West (Prekindergarten) buildings.
In addition, there is a “state of the art” playground
separated according to individual ages. Children explore and
learn, separately and safely with toys and equipment appropriate
for their age group.
Center For Early Childhood Education Philosophy
The philosophy of The Learning Center is to treat the “whole
child” by offering a program which is developmentally
appropriate. The choice of “Creative Curriculum”
as a researched based tool in the field of early education
continues to support the school’s philosophy. Children
learn according to their stages; we acknowledge similarities
and differences as well as standards and patterns of growth
in all children. Large and small group activities, as well
as teacher and child directed centers, allow children to explore
their world.
Our accredited staff brings a variety of skills and knowledge
of early education to the classroom. They are professionally
trained to teach and manage young children. Throughout the
day they plan and implement an age appropriate program with
activities to keep children interested in learning while they
play. Teachers also take continuing education courses to keep-
up- to date with new teaching methods.
We continue to believe that parent involvement and communication
are pertinent to the success of the preschool child. Parents,
teachers and children are an important team needed to work
in unison benefiting the young child. At The Learning Center
we invite parents to participate in our day with special projects,
fundraisers and events.
