The Creative Curriculum for Early Childhood
The Creative Curriculum is a child development program offered by Teaching Strategies, Inc for centers aiming to provide high-quality education to their students. The Creative Curriculum is divided into age-appropriate sections; Infants and Toddlers and Preschoolers.
Creative Curriculum’s mission is “to enhance the quality of early childhood programs by offering the highest quality curriculum materials, training programs, parenting resources, and staff development services that are practical, developmentally appropriate, responsive to the needs of the field, and reflect the most innovative thinking.”
Our daily schedule encompasses active indoor and outdoor play in what we refer to as learning centers. The indoor centers will include but not limited to:
- Blocks
- Dramatic Play
- Toys and Games
- Art
- Library
- Science/Discovery
- Music and movement
- Language Arts
- Cooking
- Computers
Learning Centers are important to our curriculum in the sense that they teach children skills such as negotiation, role-playing, self-esteem and a variety of valuable life skills.
